Q: Is CrossPoint affiliated with a particular denomination?
A: Yes, we are affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS), a Biblically conservative church body grounded in the Christ-focused, grace-alone theology of the Reformation Era. For a complete outline of our beliefs, visit www.lcms.org.
Q: How do I get involved at CrossPoint?
A: Visit us at the InfoCenter in the main commons to meet a member of the team and learn about our various ways to get connected: Meet the Family Dinners, TheCore class, learning and serving opportunities and joining Communities, or small groups. We would love to get to know you more and learn how we can best care for you and start you on your journey!
Q: What is “The City”?
A: The City is a web-based communications tool, children’s check-in point, and main hub for connection at CrossPoint. It is the place to go to find out about events, sign up for classes and to stay informed about what is happening at CrossPoint. Click on The City icon at the top of this page and check it out.
Q: How do I become a member of CrossPoint?
A: If you are interested in becoming a member, there are a few steps to take. Visit the Membership page for more details.
Q: How do I get baptized?
A. We baptize all ages, including infants. If you or any member of your family would like to be baptized, join us every 1st Sunday of the month after each service in the Chapel. If you desire to study deeper into why we live out the sacrament of Baptism the way we do, please take part in our TheCORE class.
Q: What do you offer for children on Sunday mornings?
A: At CrossPoint, we believe that families should worship Jesus together, which is why we begin in the auditorium as a family. Then, before the message, children are dismissed to classrooms where they receive wonderful age-appropriate teaching with their friends. We have free childcare available for children 6 weeks to 2 years old so mom & dad can focus on worship. Preschoolers through 5th Graders take part in a program called GENerate and need to be checked in beforehand. If your child is a first-time guest, simply go to the Children’s Information kiosk across from the Info Center. Once worship is completed, parents must pick up their child from GENerate. For our special needs children, we have the Jump program, which is maintained by our Special Needs Coordinator and served by devoted Buddies. For more info, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org visit our Children's Ministry Page.
Q: What do you offer for Junior and Senior High students?
A: Every Wednesday night, 6th - 8th graders meet in the Youth gym at CrossPoint Westgreen for Profession of Faith (POF) training from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Our 9th through 12th Grade students gather Wednesday nights in the Youth Commos for FUEL, 6:30-8:30pm for teaching designed just for them. For more information, contact email@example.com or visit our Youth Ministry page.
Q: Do you offer counseling or other pastoral care?
A: If you are in need of counseling or other pastoral care, contact our Care Coordinator at 281.945.5163 or firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a meeting with a staff member.
