Tim Miesner

Tim and his wife Sue came to CrossPoint from St Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Worth where they served for 25 years. Tim was the school principal for 15 years before moving to the church staff as Minister of Discipleship for nine years.  His wife, Sue, is a KISD teacher and they have three children and two grand-children.  Tim now directs the finances and facilities at CrossPoint.

Michelle Thompson
Dir. Children's Ministry

Michelle has arrived in Katy with a heart that is just brimming with excitement for the children of CrossPoint. Often we hear people say that our young people are the “church of the future.” She takes that idea one step further when she says,

“Our children are not just the leaders of the next generation, but leaders for today.
So often, it’s the children that provide a powerful witness to their parents and can lead them back to Christ.”

Tanya Dusek
Director or Communications

Tanya and her husband, John, came to CrossPoint from St Andrew Lutheran Church in Houston where they served for 15 years.

Tanya served as both the Director of Youth and Sunday School Superintendent over the years. John was on the Board of trustees and an Elder. Before joining CrossPoint’s staff, Tanya was the Vice President of Human Resources for a large property management company in Houston. She is certified in HR. She is currently working to obtain her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Phoenix Online. John is a carpenter. Together they have a multitude of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Tanya directs the flow of information and communication’s needs for CrossPoint.

Connie Robinson
Director of CrossPoint Christian Preschool

Connie leads the teachers and the 200+ students in our 2 yr. to K Christian school.  She has her Director's Certification and holds a BA. Connie has taught K and first grade in both Christian and public schools. She is married to Brad and has two sons, Eric and Marc.

John Moore
Director Sports Ministry

Originally from Baltimore, John and his wife Cindy along with their 3 kids, Sean, Angie, and Amanda have been Katy residents for 8 years. Before joining CrossPoint in August of 2006, John worked as a professional real estate manager for 24 years. John has always enjoyed participating in and organizing both youth and adult sports and feels blessed that our Lord has called him to do this on a full-time basis here at CrossPoint.

Evelyn Fitts
Preschool Administrator

Evelyn, along with her husband Art, and their three children, Stephanie, Joshua and Jayden have lived in Katy for over 10 years. She has been an active leader at CrossPoint Christian School as a board member and teacher and now part of the administration team. She and her family are members of CrossPoint church and have been attending for over five years.

Diane Allen
Office Manager

Diane and husband, Peter, are originally from Buffalo, NY. They relocated to Texas in 1991. Together with their children, McKenize, Kelsey & Brett, they moved to Katy in 1996 and became members of CrossPoint in 1998. She served in Preschool Children’s Ministry for eight years before joining the staff as Office Manager in Sept 2006. Diane enjoys managing the office, as well as supporting the pastoral staff and feels blessed to be a part of such a dynamic God-led team!

James Ziegel
Media Arts Director

James is responsible for the look and design of media created in-house - postcards, signs, web site, etc. With a background in television and multimedia, James also leads CrossPoint's video production efforts.
