Our senior and founding pastor is
Bill

Together with his wife Julie, they have served in
ministry for twenty years. Bill and Julie are native
Texans who after almost a decade of ministry in the
Midwest moved to Katy in January 1997. They live in
the Nottingham Country area where they raise their
three children, Timothy, Abigail, and Samuel. |

Matt Popovits,
Campus Pastor

CrossPoint Westgreen.
Matt leads our Celebration
Teams, including Youth Ministry, Children Ministry
and Sunday morning worship teams. Matt continues to
champion our small group HomeTeams, and shares the
Sunday morning teaching time with Pastor Bill.

Dan
Hauser,
Campus Pastor at Seven Lakes.
Dan was on staff at CrossPoint a couple
years back, went back to school to complete his
studies and has now returned to be our first
multi-site campus pastor. Contact Dan for
more details on this satellite site and to become
part of the mission team starting this new effort.

Jason Dail
Youth Pastor
Jason, along with his wife
Christine, and three boys, Isaac, Elijah, and
Solomon are new to Texas and the Katy area. After
growing up outside of Chicago, Jason spent his first
eight years of ministry planting a church in the
Nashville, TN area. Jason’s greatest passion is to
reach and disciple youth for Christ.

Karl Schuler
Executive Pastor
Pastor Karl is our executive pastor and he,
together with Pastor Matt at the Westgreen
campus, leads the efforts of the various teams
each week.
|
|
These teams include sports, children, youth, and
more. Karl also ensures CrossPoint's team efforts
are coordinated across the campuses, Westgreen and
Seven Lakes. Karl directly oversees our Connect
Ministries, helping to plug people into fun,
service, or growth opportunities. He and Diana along
with their two boys, Tristan and Jadon, left the
Clear Lake area for the Seminary, going on
adventure with God. Now they're back in Texas,
smiling ear to ear. Before coming to CrossPoint,
Karl was in senior management at the Johnson
Space Center.

David
Jung Outreach Pastor
David earned his B.A. in Theological Studies at
Concordia Irvine, CA; M.A. in Theology and Culture;
Pastoral Certification at Concordia Irvine and
Concordia Seminary St. Louis. He has worked as a
Vicar at One Faith Lutheran Church Irvine for three
years and as a Vicar at St. John, Orange for one
year, assisting with Bible Study.
He will be responsible for creating and overseeing
CrossPoint’s Community Outreach and Service
ministries. Working closely with campus pastors and
other leadership staff, he will continue building
bridges between the Katy community and CrossPoint.
