to the Next President
A new president and vice president, Barack
Obama and Joe Biden, respectfully. Whether
I voted for them or not, I’m thankful I live
in a country where I get to be a part of the
“choosing” process. The Bible reminds me I’m
also to be part of the praying process:
First of all, then, I urge that
supplications, prayers, intercessions, and
thanksgivings be made for all people, for
kings and all who are in high positions,
that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life,
godly and dignified in every way. (1 Timothy
2:1-2).
